অস্থিমজ্জা একজনের টা আরেকজনকে দেওয়া তো শুনেছ তাই না?
এই মজ্জা পাওয়া যায় একটা গুরুত্বপূর্ণ সাইট তথা sternum এ ।
অনেকে sternum পড়ে ফেলেছো তাদের জন্য ব্যাপারটা দুর্দান্ত হবে-

আগে জানি Sternum টা কেমন bone?
Ans: The sternum is a flat bone.
কেন flat bone?
criteria কি?
-Flat কারণ এর outer sale of compact bone and inner core of sponge bone থাকে।
কি ধারণ করে?
→ containing red bone marrow
Importance?
It is used for collection of bone marrow sample which is required for hematological examination.
আমরা জানি manubrium এর দুইটা part .
1.Upper &
2.Lower
কোনটা পার্ট থেকে Aspiration করা হয়?
→ Upper part
কেন upper part?
→ It is subcutaneous and easily approachable.
→ It is most superficia.l so, it can easily be punctured by bone marrow aspiration needle.
→ No structure injured.
→ It contains red bone marrow throughout the life.
Lower part এ কেন করা যায় না?
→ কারণ, Lower part এর relation এ Arch of Aorta থাকে, যদি lower part করতে গিয়ে Arch of Aorta injured হতো তাহলে Severe hemorrhage হতো।
