Important symptoms of GIT disorder :
.প্রথমেই আসি pain.বাংলায় ব্যাথা।সাধারণত abdominal pain নিয়ে আসে।এছাড়াও অনেক pain আছে।
abdominal pain সাধারণত 4 types-
1.visceral
2.parietal
3.Refferd
4.Psychogenic abdominal pain.
Anorexia:
The term anorexia refers to loss of appetite.বাংলায় বলে ক্ষুধামান্দ্য।
Nausea:
Nausea is the sensation of wanting to vomit.
its another name wamble.বাংলায় একে বলে বমি বমি ভাব।
Vomiting :
vomitting is the expulsion of gastric contents via the mouth.
Diarrhoea:
According to the WHO, passage of loose stool more than three times a day is called Diarrhoea.
Dysentery :
Dysentery means presence of blood and mucus in stool. অর্থাৎ রক্ত মিশ্রিত পায়খানা বাংলায় আমাশয়।
Heamatemesis:
Heamatemesis is vomitting of blood. অর্থাৎ বমির সাথে রক্ত গেলে।
Melaena:
Melaena is the passage of black,tarry stools with a characteristic odour due to blood loss in the upper GIT.অর্থাৎ দুর্গন্ধযুক্ত কালো,হালকা রক্ত মিশ্রিত পায়খানা।
Heamatochezia:
passage of fresh blood with stool is called Heamatochezia. maroon coloured stool অর্থাৎ তামাটে বর্ণের।
Abdominal distention :
সাধারণত পাঁচটি কারণে হয়-
1.fat 2.flatus 3.faeces 4.fluid 5.fetus, others functional.
Ascites:
Excessive accumulation of free fluid in the peritonial cavity.
Dysphagia:
Dysphagia is defined as deficulty in swallowing.অর্থাৎ খাবার গিলতে অসুবিধা।
Dyspepsia :
Dyspepsia is a collective term which is characterized by pain or discomfort in the upper abdomen and arising from upper GI tract.
Dysgeusia:
Dysgeusia is the distortion or decrease of the sense of taste.
Early satiety:
The inability to complete a full meal because of premature fullness is called early satiety. অল্প খাওয়াতেই পেট পেট ভরা ভরা লাগে।
Flatulence :
বাংলায় বায়ু।
Flatulence is the expulsion through the rectum of a mixture of gases that are by products of the digestion process.its also known as flatus.
Globus:
Feeling of a lump in the throat is called globus.its also called globus pharyngis,globus hystericus.
Heart burn:
Heat burn is a hot,burning retrosternal discomfort which radiates upwards.its another name pyrosis.
Hiccup:
A hiccup or hiccough is the spasmodic contraction of the diaphragm that repeats several times per minute.
The abrupt rush of air into the lungs causes the epiglottis to close,creating the”hic”sound.
অনেক অঞ্চলে এইটাকে অনেক নামে ডাকে।
Odynophagia:
pain on swallowing.খাবার সময় গিলতে গেলে ব্যাথা।
Water brush:
sudden appearance of excessive saliva in the mouth.
Xerostomia:
Xerostomia is the medical term for the subjective complaint of dry mouth due to a lack of saliva.
Constipation :
constipation is defined as infrequent (no passage of stool in 3 days or less then 3 times per week) passage of hard stool.বাংলায় বলে কোষ্টকাঠিন্য।
Steatorrhoea:
Steatorrhoea is defined as the presence of more than 7 gm of fat in a 24 hours stool collection.
এছাড়াও jaundice, bad breath (halitosis),itching(pruritus) etc.
