আর Typhoid fever এর ক্ষেত্রে leucopenia কেন পাই?
Answer is:-
Typhoid fever এ অনেক বেশী পরিমাণে bacteremia হয়, যে কারণে neutrophil গুলা এদের সাথে fight করে পেরে উঠে না, আস্তে আস্তে মরতে থাকে,সংখ্যায় কমে যেতে থাকে, যে কারণে blood এ neutropenia পাওয়া যায়।

এছাড়াও আরো কারণ হচ্ছে
যখন acute inflammation হয় তখন Acute phase protein e.g.Fibrinogen, Immunoglobulin তৈরি হয় যারা positively charged. RBC এর negative charge কে neutralize করে এরা। এইজন্য RBC গুলো একে অপরের উপর জমা হয় যাকে বলা হয় Rouleaux formation. এজন্য Fibrinogen /globulin বাড়লে অতঃপর ESR বাড়ে।
