Prescription-এর গুরুত্বপূর্ণ Drug Interaction Review
একটি বিষয় বিশেষভাবে খেয়াল করার মতো: Winbac (ciprofloxacin) + Xalcort (deflazacort) একসঙ্গে থাকলে fluoroquinolone-associated tendinitis/tendon rupture-এর ঝুঁকি বাড়ে, কারণ systemic corticosteroid এই risk বাড়ায়। Achilles tendon pain/swelling, shoulder/arm tendon pain হলে দ্রুত prescriber-এর সঙ্গে যোগাযোগ প্রয়োজন।
আর Ace Duo-এর ibuprofen + Xalcort corticosteroid একসঙ্গে থাকায় GI irritation/ulcer/bleeding-এর risk বাড়তে পারে; সম্ভবত সেই কারণেই Dextac/PPI রাখা হয়েছে। তবে PPI risk সম্পূর্ণ শূন্য করে না।
