Helicobacter pylori release করে CagA (cytotoxin asssociated gene) |

CagA নরমাল Gastric epithelium এ Replication বন্ধ করে দেয়।Relpication বন্ধ করার ফলে cell গুলোর Apoptosis হয়।যতো বেশী Apoptosis হয় Gastric mucosa ততো বেশী Apoptosis হয়ে যাবে। তার মানে parietal cell ও atropy হয়ে যাবে।তখন parietal cell আগের মতো HCL secretion করবে না,যাকে বলে ACHLOHYDIA. Stomach এ এসিড নেই তখন Bacteria colonisation হবে। Dietary nitrate তখন nitrates কে nitrosamines এ পরিণত করে। আর Nitrosamines Dysplasia (Disordered growth of tissue )করে,Then carcinoma developed করে।
