D-Dimer কি?
এইটা একটা প্রোটিন
inside body যদি কোনো blood clot হয়, body mechanism এ সেই Clot dissolve হয়ে D-Dimer নামক product তৈরি হয়।
স্বাভাবিক একটা লেভেল D-Dimer সবার থাকে, যা physiological mechanism এ তৈরি হয়।
যদি এই লেভেল বাড়তে থাকে, that means inside body বেশি বেশি blood clot হচ্ছে, এবং তা dissolve হয়ে D-Dimer তৈরি হচ্ছে।
তাহলে যেইসব রোগে শরীরের অভ্যন্তরীণ blood clot হয়, অথবা DIC হয়, সেই সব রোগে D-Dimer বাড়ে।।
করোনা, ডেঙ্গু, প্রেগন্যান্সি, ইত্যাদিতে শরীর hypercoagulable কন্ডিশনে থাকে, তাই এইসব কন্ডিশনে D-Dimer বেড়ে যায়।
ডেঙ্গু রোগির D-Dimer বৃদ্ধি পাওয়ার মানে হচ্ছে তার dengue severe condition এ আছে।

D-Dimer বাড়ছে দেখেই Covid confirm হওয়া ব্যতীত Anticoagulant শুরু করা যাবেনা,
কারণ পেশেন্ট এর D-Dimer যদি ডেঙ্গুর কারণে বেড়ে থাকে, তাহলে anti -coagulant can cause severe Hg.
