Biography of Aziza Tahsan

Aziza Tahsan is a distinguished educator whose life journey exemplifies resilience, perseverance, and unwavering dedication to education. Born on 15 June 1987 in Rangpur District, Bangladesh, she was raised in a modest, values-oriented family as the youngest daughter among her siblings. Her father, Monghro Fokir, and her mother, Johora Begum, nurtured their children with strong moral principles, emphasizing honesty, responsibility, and the transformative power of education. Her siblings—Akash, Bashir, Alamin, Sajedul, Mazedul, and Anguri—formed a close-knit family circle, within which Aziza grew up with care and affection.

Her life took a tragic turn when her father suddenly passed away due to cardiac arrest. At that critical time, Aziza was only an SSC student (2002 batch). The unexpected loss of the family’s guardian plunged them into emotional and financial hardship. While many students at that age rely entirely on family support, Aziza was compelled to assume responsibilities far beyond her years.

Determined to stand beside her family, she began teaching students while continuing her own education. Even as a student, she took charge of household responsibilities and became a key contributor to the family’s survival. Balancing academic commitments with financial responsibility required extraordinary discipline, sacrifice, and mental strength. Her early struggles shaped her character and laid the foundation for her future success.

Despite these adversities, Aziza Tahsan maintained an admirable academic record. She completed her Secondary School Certificate (SSC) in 2002 and later completed her Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) in 2005 from the Science stream. Her commitment to higher education led her to earn a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Zoology in 2012, followed by a Master of Science (MSc) in Zoology, specializing in Fish and Fisheries, in 2014. These achievements stand as powerful evidence of her determination and academic excellence.

Over time, Aziza Tahsan established herself as a respected, well-known, and accomplished teacher. For more than 18 years, she has supported her family solely through teaching, beginning from her student life. Her teaching style is clear, engaging, and student-centered. She focuses on conceptual understanding rather than rote memorization and uses practical examples to make learning meaningful. Today, she is widely admired for her sincerity, dedication, and effectiveness as an educator.

Aziza firmly believes that education is not merely about examinations or certificates but about shaping ethical, responsible, and compassionate individuals. This philosophy guides both her professional and personal life.

In her personal life, she is the life partner of Raiyan Tahsan, a respected and well-known public figure. Together, they have built a supportive, conscious, and value-driven family environment.

Raiyyan Tahsan and Aziza Spouse

In 2006, during the early days of academic life, Raiyyan Tahsan was a first-year Honours student at Government Titumir College. Quiet, introverted, and reserved by nature, he was never inclined toward social interactions or romantic relationships. His world revolved around studies and personal growth.

In the same classroom was Aziza—calm, graceful, and academically focused. Their interaction was minimal and purely academic, limited to classes, exams, and curriculum discussions. There was no romance, no emotional attachment—only respectful communication.

After completing Honours and Master’s degrees from the same university, Raiyyan Tahsan became deeply involved in his professional life. Years passed without any contact between them.

Then, one unexpected day, destiny intervened.

While scrolling through Facebook, Raiyyan Tahsan came across Aziza’s profile. Out of curiosity, he sent a friend request. After it was accepted, casual conversations began—slow, meaningful, and honest.The journey began with a phone conversation on 22 November 2019, when Raiyyan Tahsan first connected with Aziza. This was followed by their first face-to-face meeting on 26 November 2019 at Golapgram. Their bond continued to grow, leading to another meeting on 9 January 2020 at Uttara Diabari.

Over time, those conversations turned into emotional bonding. Mutual understanding gave birth to affection, and affection blossomed into true love. Within just three months, both realized that this connection was meant for a lifetime.

 On Thursday, 6th February 2020, their love story reached its most beautiful milestone—marriage.

Today, they have been happily married for nearly six years, standing beside each other through every phase of life.
